We're looking for a new member of the Technology team to help shape and guide our our technology choices moving forwards. We're on a journey of continuous improvement and no where is this felt more strongly than in our technology and architecture practice, where we've actively been modernising our technology stack. You'll join us at an exciting time, where we're looking to continue our path to put in place a truly cutting edge platform, that can service needs of the current and future business.


Your role will as a driving force in evaluating, selecting and then championing our architecture and technology strategy going forwards. This is a crucial function of our Technology group and this position is therefore one which carries great gravitas and attention within our organisation.

Job Responsibilities

Who are we looking for?

  • You! No seriously, if you think you have some or all of the below skills or experience then we should really chat:
  • Naturally, you’re an experienced Solutions Architect, who is as comfortable presenting and engaging with execs in a boardroom, as you are talking deep technical implementations with engineers (and everything in between). 
  • You understand that Systems Architecture is so much more than drawing boxes in a diagram!
  • You have experience evaluating new technologies, tools and platforms and assessing their suitability as part of a broader architecture and strategy
  • You are experienced and accomplished at assessing and managing vendor engagements and tools
  • You have a keen understanding of preferably AWS and other cloud-based providers 
  • You have demonstrable experience of building architectures that are loosely coupled, highly extensible, flexible and have security and and agility baked-in 
  • You're familiar with architecture and design patterns (big bonus points if you have experience designing or implementing event-based architectures)
  • You're able to navigate the build vs buy discussion and come back with firm recommendations for either approach
  • You are naturally inquisitive and experimental in your approach. As part of this you are comfortable in building prototypes and proof-of-concepts as part of your evaluation process
  • You know your CRMs from your CDPs from your EDPs and understand the importance, boundaries and roles of each within in modern organisation
  • You are able to tread the fine line between evangelism and pragmatism and are able to use both to recommend and shape an architecture that suits all aspects of our business
