What's it about?

A key strategic and leadership role, the Head of Marketing is responsible for driving and executing a multi-channel acquisition, retention, brand and communication strategy for the amaysim Energy vertical including key brands, Click Energy and On The Move.  An outcome focussed role, the Head of Marketing will work as one with Sales to achieve shared financial and sales targets.

 

Leading a team of high performing Marketing professionals, the focus of this role is on delivering customer account growth and delivering on retention targets through innovative strategic development, operational efficiency and exceptional execution.  The role will balance a commercially minded analytical approach with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.

 

As a senior leader, the role is expected to understand the market and drive their teams to plan and execute on opportunities quickly and effectively.

 

This role will take a hands on approach and work seamlessly and effectively with the stakeholders in the Leadership, Sales, and Operations teams as well as across the wider amaysim Group to deliver objectives.  

 

Role Responsibilities

Strategy and planning 

-    Lead and execute on the strategy development for acquisition and retention. 
-    Lead and execute on brand and product launch strategy and go to market planning and development. 

 

Integrated marketing campaigns (IMC)

-    Manage and execute integrated marketing campaigns to achieve targets for group marketing and business verticals. 
-    Oversee and influence all marketing communications across the team to ensure alignment and effective brand integration.

 

Stakeholder management 

-    Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on acquisition, retention and brand strategy. 
-    Support channels to achieve sales targets. 
-    Responsibility for ensuring senior stakeholders are aligned and in agreement of brand and comms approach.
-    Responsibility for ensuring agency partners are delivering on time and on budget. 
     
Team leadership and management

-    Lead the Marketing team to be a well-respected and high performing team within the amaysim group company. 
-    Ensure campaign process runs smoothly and resources are set to ensure workload flows
-    Build and maintain employee engagement and retention, 
-    Coach, mentor and execute on shared development goals.     

 

Who we are looking for?
  • Extensive experience across Marketing across campaigns, channels and customer marketing, particularly with an acquisitions focus
  • Experience working in a sales driven environment with personal acquisition and retention KPI’s
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Customer-best philosophy and approach to marketing
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and have good understanding of commercial principles
  • Lateral thinker and technically-minded
  • Strong, accountable and effective leadership
  • Ability to drive performance and deliver on results quickly and effectively
  • Clear, concise communication at every level
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively to deliver on priorities
  • Ability to fit into a hard working team that celebrates success
  • Capability to work fast and dynamically
